If you then run downstairs to the floor, a bruiser will spawn outside and run in. You then run back up the stairs and kill it. Rinse and repeat and you have an infinite flow of bruisers that come one at a time and are of no danger to you.
Occasionaly the bruiser that spawns outside by the building to the north will tag along with the spawned bruiser, and you might possibly get a pathing bruiser, but I can kill all 3 at once with my priest without much issue, other classes should have it much easier as I'm PvE disc.
It appears if you kill the NPC's the guards will no longer come with you just running downstairs. This is working out great for me and going very fast and safe.
Maybe someone else attacked someone and spawned extra bruisers or something somewhere else in booty bay. I'll attempt to investigate further, but I still stand by my conclusion that this is the best way hands down to do this. If you do get "spawn delay" on them, I run out and kill the two NPC's in the building just north of this location, kill the guy by the smelting station and the guy on the wooden walkway just south for a quick 20 rep , and there is also a stationary bruiser on the wooden walkway to the west of the NPC you can kill for another 25 rep.
Comment by dumac to the article: Baron gives 25 rep, not 5 rep as it says. Doing the Bloodsailor now and it always says 25 then i kill the baron. Comment by mage is there any reason why you're reputation with these guys will stop increasing after going from Hated to hostile to unfriendly?
Comment by Aknazer As a lvl80 PvP specced enh shaman this is fairly easy, though still slow. My favorite place for farming is right outside of the inn while wolves are down. With wolves up I can easily clear out the bank area or the inn I rotate which place I clear out every other wolf CD. Comment by maen2ajah if i got exalted with bloodsail will it count to my exalted factions achievements?
I think it's only the Booty Bay Reputation, but I could be wrong. Comment by Locantos maen2ajah: Yes, it counts to the exalted factions archivement. Then you can check if the steamweedle quest hurt your bloodsail rep. I have reached exalted today with the bloodsail buccaners on EU-Madmortem. I was farming Jazzrik since February for this.
Because he resapwn only around every 6 minutes, it is perfect do the homework in parallel, play with the kids, or watch TV, Comment by Undeadlord The easiest class more then often to do this grind is the Death Knight. More often then not, along the way to 80 you WILL damage your bloodsail rep. PS; before you do the grind think about it Comment by It is inaccurate to say doing one quest with Booty Bay will make you instantly hated with Bloodsail.
Rather, players start off at Hated when introduced to the faction. This often occurs along with players being introduced to Booty Bay via an introductory quest. I have gained Bloodsail rep to Honored.
Then I completed a quest that gives me a negative Bloodsail rep and positive goblin towns reps. The quest only reduced my Bloodsail rep by and did not instantly make me Hated again. I am still Honored with Bloodsail Buccaneers. Comment by I am stuck at honored :P took me only a few, about 2 hours, solo'ing..
Sat near the AH in booty bay, an kept killing everything there, had no issues with dying. Revilgaz has spared me from the gallows but my punishment might be nearly as bad. Quest: "! That bilge sicker asked me to go an' off me ole' mates and to bring back their bandannas as proof.
I don't have it in me heart to do that, nor will I ask ye to. Bring me some silk cloth and red dye and i'll make suitable replicas. I'll tell the Baron you went turncoat, but be warned Reputation with Gatgetzan increased by Reputation with Ratchet increased by Reputation with Everlook increased by Reputation with Bloodsail Buccaneers decreased by Comment by Mydge I am trying to work out the information directly regarding becoming exalted, and its quite hard through all the posts.
Yes I have Honoured already, but I would like to be exalted as well if I can. If people could help by replying with the information on how to become exalted.
At what point does killing BB bruisers become useless? Cheers for the help! Yargh me hearties Comment by So I'm also exalted, finally : Took me about 6 weeks to complete it. Comment by Those of you looking to bring back up your goblin rep after finishing the Bloodsail grind may be interested to note that the Winter Veil holiday quests grant a significant wad of rep with all four goblin towns saving Metzen and the Smokeywood Pastures ones anyway.
It worked out to about rep with each of the four towns and no damage to Bloodsail. Comment by what do i have to do to get the title? Comment by So as of the current patch, is it still possible to raise you're rep with the Bloodsail lowering you're Steamwheedle rep , but then regaining you're rep with Steamwheedle WITHOUT becomming hated again with the Bloodsail? Comment by Ok, I know this is covered like x in these comments, but just to summarize: I'm currently Exalted with all the Steamwheedle Cartel reps abd hated with Bloodsail.
How can I raise Bloodsail with minimal impact to the SW ones? I also want to grind for the Hyacinth Macaw, but that loses Bloodsail rep. What's the best way to do this?
Comment by Took me lvl 80 rogue and my Boyfriend lvl 80 priest 2days of grinding to get EX. We Had a lil pattern of Killing all the guys at the end of the dock to the Long vendor area where they sell parrots killing off those vendors. Then we'd go into the flightpath givers kill them off for some yummy rep and go down onto the area with the bankers and auctioneers! Bring a healer with you though.. Will i just loose x rep or will i get nuked from orbit down to hated? Comment by Not sure if it has been said, but I've had some hassle trying to find info on this: you do NOT need Bloodsail honored and Steamwheelde Factions exalted at the same time.
After reaching honored with Bloodsail, you're allowed to drop your rep with them, trough the repeatable cloth Quests for example. Comment by It seems most people are posting merely about their relations with Booty Bay. You can not heal the members of this faction, whatsoever. Thus, you can't be evil to lowbies on your faction by healing the NPC they are killing. This is a sad day among us Bloodsail Healers. But seriously, I think it would be nice to report actual info.
Most of this stuff that has been posted has been posted many times on this page! What is the flaw in farming non Bloodsail pirates to take one or all SW to friendly, then kill a couple of Booty Bruisers until you are bottom out on nuetral to chip slowly as improving your Bloodsail rep?
Granted it will be a longer grind to yo-yo back and forth, but I think it would be worth it to always keep on the positive side with SW for all the other things you want to do in the game.
Comment by Dkshan if u want 2 go back 2 booty bay u can just get into a group with someone and have them kill a bloodsail and you will go instantly hated with them but u will be still hated with booty bay and you can spend alot of time killing them 2 go back 2 neutral with BB this happened on my dk and i got pissed and had 2 start from scratch again. Comment by Okey too all player who are planning to do this achivment its easy!
Just get honored with the Bloodsail Buccaneers and then u go to there place and get the quest for it And complete that and you have the acivhment for it! All other the post is useless! Comment by Alterraia There should be something for being fully Exalted with these guys! Comment by Djangodjango Did the entire Rep grind from hated to friendly in an evening as a Elemental Shaman with a Retribution Paladin guildmate.
I want my reputation back! I already had it, but helped him gain aggro to the bruisers. Comment by anyone know yet if there will be an easier way to get rep with Bloodsail in Cataclysm. Comment by Interesting facts to amaze your friends! One of the native tribes in the Caribbean, the Arawak, used a wooden frame for smoking meat, and called it a "Buccan". When French explorers came, they called it a "boucane" and the term "Boucanier" was used to mean a hunter who used such a frame to cook and preserve their meat.
English colonists changed this to "Buccaneer". Or as I call them The Bloodsail Barbequers Wiki page Try their BBQ sauce! Comment by Sash I did the Bloodsail rep grind a while back, before I picked up engineering. Now I'm regretting it. Will doing a quest for Everlook that gives rep decrease my Bloodsail rep? If so, how much? Comment by can someone answer me this. Comment by Arzanot Well the grind to reach maxed Exalted with these guys has now been thoroughly diminished by Blizzard The truely insane are discredited : "Bloodsail Buccaneer faction reputation will remain in-game.
Also, to ensure that this change does not negatively affect Cataclysm quest progression in Stranglethorn Vale, Booty Bay Bruisers will now provide reputation up through Exalted.
The Shendralar retreat from the achievement however is abit of a let down, and it seems like we wont get an added title to "The Insane" from that. Comment by Locantos As was posted now from Blizzard, you be able to farm the reputation now to exalted with the Booty bay guards grind, when Cataclysm starts.
The bad thing is for those people like me who have farmed to exalted already will receive no feat of strengh or will be a 'special' reputationj junky. Now everyone can get exalted. The good thing is I can quest in cataclysm also in stranglethorn booty bay faction quests and can 'repar' my bloodsail rep again. There are now also more named NPCs connected trough the bloodsail faction. Comment by Regarding solo farming Bruisers: Until you are hostile, Bruisers will not automatically spawn to attack you, and nothing will aggro onto you.
What you want to do until you are hostile, is kill everything, tagging all of the named NPC's will spawn a Bruiser per group. This will work to your advantage, and here is why.
In BB, this works as ONE Bruiser at a time, but each time you kill one, another will replace it sometimes there is a second delay on the spawns and they will chain about spawns before you've depleted that NPC cluster's guard spawns. Multiple NPCs within social radius of each other seem to share the same guard spawn, so you'll only end up with one Bruiser at a time spawning on you. Avoid AOE too close to the named NPC's, as when they are dead and you are no longer in proximity to a living one, the guard spawn chain will cease.
I usually work a loop east around the top level, then drop down to the bottom level, and head towards the ship, then head back up the ramp to the top level. As you move along, go until you see the Bruisers spawning, situate yourself so you don't kill the named NPC's, and kill the chain of Bruisers, then move to the next point. The named NPC's will eventually "recharge" their cache of guards so they will be available on the next loop. Its also helpful to range pull any additional Bruisers while killing the chain of spawns, if you have a ranged attack handy, just to get a few more rep points during your loop.
As you go along, youll learn where the Bruisers spawn and know best where to place yourself. Keep in mind, single target abilities or your highest damage ones usually work best on these guys, the faster you kill each guard chain, the faster you can move onto the next bunch, the faster you get your rep. Comment by I think you should head over to the page for the achievement that you're interested in.
Comment by Teleros As of patch 4. At the same time, you can now kill Booty Bay guards to get Exalted. I've looked through all the quests that reduce your Bloodsail reputation, and so far it seems that you only drop reputation via the quests at Booty Bay and at Faldir's Cove in the Arathi Highlands.
This is equivalent to killing exactly 27 Booty Bay guards, assuming they each give Bloodsail reputation at all rep levels I've seen nothing to suggest a change in this. I tried attacking one and he was hitting me, a Tier geared L80 Ret paladin, for k including crushing blows, but not crits.
In other words, you will need to be Level 85, very good at kiting they still throw nets , very tough or in a group to farm the guards. You also lose rep every time you kill a BB guard, so if you kill 27 BB guards to get your rep back up, you'll need to make up rep with the Steamwheedle Cartel some other way. I haven't included rep lost from actually killing Bloodsail NPCs, as this rather depends on how many you kill.
Hope you all find this useful :. Comment by I can confirm that, post-shattering, there are a few scant new things for those of us who are friendly with the Bloodsails. On each boat there's a vendor that we can access. A gun vendor, sword vendor, and a vendor who sells parrots and volatile rum.
The guns and swords are white-level and not unique to the Bloodsails, so don't get excited. Fortunately they do sell weapons that, in general, fit the "look" of your Bloodsail set. There's also a number of corsairs that you can speak with.
They generally say Pirate-y things like "Ahoy! Comment by Warlikke As of just a few minutes ago, I killed one guard in BB and all it did was decreased my reputation with all 4 factions. I did not get any rep for Bloodsail. So I though, no problem. I'll just get it back but I did not. I am done doing any quest in BB till something gets confirmed that it is possible to gain rep with Bloodsail. Thank you in advance. Comment by Arzanot I myself tried the first day of patch 4.
Went pretty smooth since im a protection warrior. However i recieved no rep other then the decrease in rep from the steamwheedle cartel factions. My guess is they simply didnt implement the BB guards providing rep for Bloodsail Buccaneers through Exaltet yet. You can probably count on them doing so once Cataclysm comes out tho : They did write they'd make that change with the shattering of Azeroth but its a week or so untill you can, so cap Steamwheedle Cartel meanwhile to have less work after capping Bloodsail Buccaneers :.
Comment by In 4. Comment by richard Killed a Booty Bay Bruiser just last night. Received no reputation gain with Bloodsail Buccaneers, however; I lost reputation with all four goblin reps. Comment by p1r Bruisers are up to k hp and hit for 30k on plate.
The deckhands on there have an unbelievably high spawn rate. My rotation as a level 85 DK was Shakes O' Breen and the 2 deckhands on shore, then the deckhand on the deck of the ship. Took me a couple of hours to get to Neutral. I had honored rep with them but by mistake i did a quest in BB that reduced my rep under honored. Since I'm going for the Insane title i needed it back up stat. I tried to kill a BB guard but no chance at lvl I am curious whether they give rep above honored too.
Re-spawn rate is good seconds and they give 5 Bloodsail rep and take away 25 BB and 12,5 cartel rep. This is the response i got: There were a lot of changes made recently and the Booty Bay Bruisers have been affected by the changes. And the Bloodsail rep is a bit more challenging. At the moment, it's working as intended. It looks like it will be a lot harder to grind the rep from now on.
Comment by pesho Since I've left this faction for last for the insane title and killing 4 pirates in Faldir's cove over and over again didnt sound appealing I decided to drop some of my buccaneer rep to get to the Doublerum quest and farm the named mobs while phased. That way I can come to BB whenever I need to for the boat and not get my ass kicked. The most efficient path I've found is Revilgaz, then drop down to the bankers and aucrioneer, then to the peer where there are 4 named, then inside the market building where 7 npcs are neatly packed ready for aoe, then up one floor and right behind the market building where 5 npcs are close together.
Those 2 last packs and couple of npcs at the peer are 5 rep each but all others I mentioned are 25 rep each. Revilgaz and the bankers respawn fairly quickly but all others take about 5min to respawn, so as you're killing those 3 and you see the auctioneer respawned you can visit the other locations too.
For about an hour I got 3k rep while alt-tabbing to a browser while im waiting for respawns. Comment by Gwalchgwyn It seems as though the only way to reach exalted with Bloodsail now is to kill High Admiral "Shelly" Jorrick due to the fact that booty bay bruisers are near invincible hit me in bear form with tank gear for 50k a hit , making booty bay impenitrable, and Faldirs Cove mobs only giving rep up to max honored.
There are also reports of BB Bruisers no longer giving rep past honored. I'm so glad i put the effort in to kill Jazzrik while i did now :.
Comment by aggression Can confirm, just spoke to GM. You only need to hit honored, and then let it drop wile you do quests for the cartel. You only need to gain honored once, and let it drop that is. Achievement will know that you've been honored.
Comment by ifantis Just confirmed you can do quests in tanaris and you will not loose bloodsail rep I just did a quest for driz plunkblow. Comment by taggme it is very soloable as an arcane mage, just keep slow up and be willing to kite like a crazy person Comment by Kisser Hi all, i was wondering, if this works as i describe it and sorry i know, my english sucks hard : I didnt have completed any quests in Cape and Northern stranglethorn for loremaster achievement.
I have started to kill all Booty Bay npcs i met, decreasing reputation with steamwheedle cartel and increasing rep with buccaneers. Then i will start to kill mobs on the island in barrens or venture co.
Its possible to complete loremaster in stranglethorn now? In this last sentence am i right? Thank you much for any response. Comment by Tasmina I've completed Getting in with the Bloodsail. My reputation is currently hated. I want to remove it so I can go back to farming those pirates for Steamwheedle Cartel reputation, but I can't figure out how. Bloodsail Buccaneers are already marked "at war" in my reputation pane, but all the NPCs are friendly targets to me. Comment by Hey, for some days ago i went down to Booty Bay because i was planing to kill some guards for Bloodsail Buccaneers rep for my "The Insane in the membrane" FoS.
So my point is, how are you supposed to do this alone? Or is it intented by BLizzard that you are supposed to form a raid to do it? Faldirs Cove has been nerfed to the ground and is no longer a good place at all to get Bloodsail Buccaneer reputation at all.
Faldirs Cove has also apparently been nerfed slow spawns, not as good of a farming place for reputation. I have not been able to confirm this and won't be able to for some time! June 2nd, May 5th, April 27th, Patch 4. We need a good spawn rate and a relatively safe place to farm. As it turns out - there's an ideal place inside Booty Bay.
This place has low spawns but allows you to instantly spawns Booty Bay bruisers at your own will, triggered by World Guard Spawn Trigger. Ie, when you stand at a certain place, a Guard Booty Bay Bruiser will always spawn unless that trigger's spawned Guard is still alive. Bloodsail Buccaneer faction reputation will remain in-game. Comment by 4. All he could say was that other GM's had reported similar issues to the devs. This particular GM was unable to advise us on how to gain any rep with Bloodsail in the current patch 4.
Comment by Nikki In the current state of the game 4. You can do this by opening the reputation pane in game, clicking the booty bay faction, and checking the "at war" button. There is currently a bug some individuals are experiencing preventing them from going to war. Some claim that a workaround is to use AoE spells on these untargetable mobs. I am not experiencing this bug currently so I can't recommend anything else.
When starting there are two options. These mobs will give you reputation to max honored. Booty Bay Bruisers can be killed and give reputation to max honored in the current patch.
This is a bug however, because it is intended that they give reputation up to exhalted. Killing a bruiser yields 25 reputation. He grants 5 reputation per kill all the way up to max exalted.
However, he has a respawn rate between hours. Engaging him will not cause his guards to initiate you. There are also three quests that grant reputation with the Bloodsail Avast Ye, Admiral! However when Blizzard fixes the bruisers to grant reputation to exalted, this will no longer be the case. Once you reach whatever level of reputation you desire, it is possible to regain reputation with the Steamwheedle Cartel while maintaining your Bloodsail reputation.
This is done by going to Lost Rigger's Cove and killing pirates till you are honored with Gadgetzan. After this, you can move back to Lost Rigger's Cove to grind out the rest of the Steemwheedle Cartel reputation. If you follow these routes, you can hold exalted with both the Bloodsail and Gadgetzan post Shattering. Comment by Alcome I would like to state that it is true, there is a bug that prevents you from being able to kill booty bay faction NPC's even after going to war.
This bug does not apply to everyone. Comment by Is anyone know how to do that faction after cata? Despite the fact that I didn't hit either one, intentionally or with a buff Thorns, Frost Armor, etc. However, I didn't receive any experience and they weren't lootable.
EDIT: I don't know why people are downrating this, it's true. Comment by Tip for people that are going for "The Insane" : Do the quest chain up untill the invasion of Booty Bay It's not a quest, it's just an event triggered by completing a quest. The best part is ; They still give rep for Bloodsail Buccaneers!
I had to do "Turning the Brashtide" Without completing it, ofcourse before I could kill them, but it actually works! I don't know if this is a bug, but I think I'll take advantage of this. Note that you have to attack them with AoE spells, as you can't target them even if you are "At War" with them. Then when you get Honored with the Bloodsail Buccaneers, step onto the boat in the middle of Booty Bay Still in the event. There are quite alot and respawn pretty fast. So you can get Honored with the Bloodsail Buccaneers and back to Neutral Or whatever you have to be to do quest or whatever to get reputation faster.
One stone, Two birds. Comment by Going for the exalted title, I forgot about this and went straight for all Steamwheedle Cartel Reputations at exalted, now I regret it and was wondering if there is any way to get your Bloodsail Reputation up without compromising your Steamwheedle Cartel Reputation as I wouldn't like doing the DM thing all over again!
There is a solution, finally, that I can share - thanks to a nice person in trade chat one day. If you go to Faldir's Cove in Arathi Highlands, there are half a dozen pirates around level 40 that each award 5 or 6 Bloodsail rep. They are one-shot kills at level 85 I just ran around spamming Fan of Knives and respawn as fast as you can kill them.
Three on the dock and on the ship. The first mate spawns more slowly, but awards 25 rep when you catch him, which for me was every five or six passes. Give the ones up the hill by the fire a pass, as they are needed by questers. I went from hated to friendly with Bloodsail in around four hours, maybe less. This bug is reported in both 2 places Faldir at arathi and Booty bay. Comment by grahamiam Two things I didn't see mentioned about Faldir's Cove: 1 The deckhands drop a good amount of Wool and Silk cloth, so the time spent isn't just for rep, you can make a good amount of money as well 2 Doing this as a shaman SUCKS.
Once I hit neutral with Booty Bay, things went about 5x faster. And finally, rep bonuses from guild levels and from the Battle Standards do not affect negative rep gains at least in this case , so getting friendly towards goblins and pirates should be easier.
Comment by anathor In this post I will give both general info and specific strategy for boomkins. Faldir's Cover indeed seems to be the best place to farm this rep at least until Friendly for the title and hat, or Honored for the Insane title. There are 2 phases to this grind depending on your rep with Booty Bay: over and under Neutral. Phase 1 : After setting Booty Bay as "At War" select Booty Bay rep in the Reputation pane and click "At War" in the small tab that appears on the right side the mobs can't be hit directly and need to be AOEd down, which depending on your class is more or less of an issue.
Call of Booty will send you back to Booty Bay. Finishing it starts Doublerum , which is the last quest you need to complete before being phased our objetive here lol.
Set yourself as "at War" and start killing as suggested above. Comment by dshiryu About the unphased farm, I found that the points , lower level, out- and inside the buildings , inside the Inn, outside the Inn at middle level , and near the auctioneer, seem to have almost an infinite spawn, you kill and they just spawn one after the other. On area upper level there's a high concentration of Bruisers stationed or patrolling.
That basically means you should either avoid it at lower ilvl or go for it if you manage to heal yourself reliably Warrior's Victory Rush and talent Second Wind do wonders. Comment by Qoko Minor addition! Nothing's as boring as grinding something twice.
Comment by Nezlly Hey mate, did pretty much everything as you've written it down but I've ran into an issue! My problem is that during "phased booty bay" the Booty Bay Bruisers outside of the inn don't give any reputation.
Should I just finish the questline and farm in the non-phased version of Booty Bay or maybe you've got some other ideas? Currently a full rotation excluding the inn of booty bay doesn't give me anywhere near rep not even half that. And the Booty Bay Bruiser phased are not giving reputation In this case the quest "Avast Ye, Admiral! Comment by Mavim Hey Guys, So I am a bit confused here, I grinded my bloodsail to exalted, now working on the goblin part.
Just wondering should i continue now to get exalted with the goblins or did i so something wrong and have to work on the bloodsail again? I assumed once you get the exalted, it would count for the title? Comment by Ebergar There is an alternate spot for grinding bloodsail, outside of booty bay.
In faldirs cave if you turn on the "at war" with booty bay, there you will find few npcs giving 5 10 sec spawn to 25 rep for bloodsail. No bruisers to worry about, you can even conveniently place yourself to reach all, BUT The 5 rep 10 sec spawn npcs gives quest which requires protecting him.
Killing him fails the quest, which pisses people off. Not sure about what rep level you can achieve this way. Remember to be in ye olde Faldir, before the BFA events talk to Zidormi to change eras, shes at southern enterance to Arathi. Comment by DallMit Well crap. So I already got into the phased bay and got my rep with cartel down.
But I have not done the negative rep quests phased long before this guide was here I guess I will have to grind pirates in phase to honored, unphase, grind them to exalted. Then, grind rep with booty bay to netural to turn in chicken quests and Shakes O'Breen chain. Then, grind the pirates rep back to exalted and continue the grind as written in the guide?
So, I got myself into about more guard kills and some more pirates Just asking to see if my understanding is correct. It looks like my only options are to grind to exalted are: Unphased Booty Bay The two Booty Bay Bruisers at the shark jaw entrance outside the phase, which do give rep.
Edit: Chigyy mentioned this in June , but it looks like the guide isn't updated. By activating Party Sync, all party members will be put to a state where they can pick up the Bloodsail's End quest. This quest can also be shared by the party member that's actually on the quest. One thing to keep in mind, is that the moment the person that's actually on the quest leaves the group, access to the phase will be lost, until a person that's on the quest joins the group again.
If the group member that's on the quest has already killed Firallon, the only way to get back to the "Phased Booty Bay", is to share the quest, drop it, and have it shared back to you from a Party-Sync'd group member.
Comment by Qoko Early December update: somewhere between now and New Years I'm going to write a v2, redoing most parts of the guides for both practicality and readability. The phased state will be explained a bit more clearly, including recent info from Tyrsenus and Cipri.
I'm actually going to put certain sections in an addendum that are not core info of the guide, mainly additional grind areas, extra quest info, etc. ADD 7-feb real life and 8. I will do an 8. Am I doing something wrong here? Comment by Zaxile Hello! Really great guide. Do i need to grind myself to friendly with booty bay and then turn it in and will this effect my reputation with the bloodsails?
Comment by Kradokk Great guide, thank you so much! One question, is that I really just don't know where to start. I got "The Insane" back in 3. I want to grind the Bloodsail to exalted, and I realize that will have a negative impact on the goblin reps, but I am hoping to do the least amount of damage possible to the reps I have already ground out. What advice would you have in this case, as I really just need to grind Bloodsail through Revered, and then repair my goblin reps?
Comment by yaneyuubin Hi, does this guide work for WoW Classic as well? Computing how much reputation you will need to hit exalted with all four Steamwheedle Cartel factions can be a bit tricky, as different areas have different maximum levels of reputation they will grant.
The spillover reputation does not seem to be affected by these maximums, however, as you can earn reputation with Ratchet well into revered by killing the pirates in Lost Rigger Cove, even though you may have already maxed out your Gadgetzan reputation there. Despite this, once you are revered with both Ratchet and Gadgetzan, it may be faster to do Dire Maul runs until you reach exalted. With the 1. You will gain reputation with the appropriate faction with spill over to the other goblin factions and lose reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers.
These quests are only available if your reputation is below neutral with the town in question. If you are completely hated with all Steamweedle factions Rep you need to turn in the following amounts of stacks this will get you to neutral :.
Due to spill over, you will have to turn in half as much with each successive town. Also, you should compare prices on the turn ins. Post away! Log in , it's free! Insane in the Membrane is still available and can be completed. While it is suggested to get Honored with the Bloodsail Buccaneers first, then onto the Goblin reputations, you do not have to have all the reputations simultaneously.
Insane in the membrane is still available on patch 6. Each quest gives you part of the Bloodsail suit. Once completed, hand in and you will recieve your nice, new Bloodsail Captians Hat! However, during the Bloodsail Buccaneers quest line, the town phases and is much easier to farm. Productive options for farming Bloodsail reputation, then, are as follows….
Beyond that, you will be able to increase your reputation by turning in Librams and Class Books. Each Libram or Class Book will award you reputation and turning in more Librams will keep awarding you reputation.
