See this Microsoft answer for fix solutions. If the same error message shows up even if you use another video player, probably your cam videos are problematic maybe corrupted , you can try a video recovery or repair software to fix them.
I had the same problem with some files being corrupted. I would play a movie and it might play part of the way before hanging up. This happened when my SD card was in my phone and my PC.
